Curve Tutorial

This is another very simple 3 step tutorial teaching and explaining how to use the curve technique and what it is good for. This technique is good for improving the tone of your image.

Introduction
The brightnes, color and contrast are all effected by the Curve option. Though this tool can greatly disturb the look of your peice, it can also improve the appearance by adding new depth and color to your image!

Download the .PSD

Step 1
Open the image which you would like to "curve".



Step 2
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curve as shown in the screenshot. to the right



Step 3
Play with the settings. It is not a good idea to change the curve too drastically because it will distort your images and make them generally looks horrible. A slight touch can make it looks 2x better.
